Go Find Your Tribe!

Strength girls, Strength. Little mother, beautiful sister, beloved daughter. Every stage you will find your strength. How?

"When we consider all the blessings of God, the gifts that add beauty and joy to our lives, that enable us to keep going through life's ups and down friendship is very near the top."

My Tribe, you are my people. This is where life is lived. These are the moments, the people that make life worth living. These are the people who make life beautiful. These are my people. This is my tribe.

Little mother, beautiful sister, beloved daughter. Be around the people that bring light into your world. The magic makers, the world shakers. These are women that will challenge you. Break you open, but be there to help put you back together. They uplift you and help you expand. They share your big audacious dreams and help you achieve them! These sweet souls are your people. They are your Tribe!

This is so important because every day we grow older. Yes, we do. And some days I feel it more than others.

But one thing I make a conscious decision about is who I spend it with.

So how do we find our people?

1) A Person of Integrity: easy to recognize. Instantly, we want to spend time with them and enjoy their company.

After David had finished talking with Saul, he met Jonathan, the king’s son. There was an immediate bond between them, for Jonathan loved David. From that day on Saul kept David with him and wouldn't let him return home. And Jonathan made a solemn pact with David because he loved him as he loved himself. (1 Samuel 18:1-3)

2) The soundest advice comes from the bible: Friends who speak scripture into us help keep us on our path.

The godly give good advice to their friends; the wicked lead them astray. (Proverbs 12:26, NLT)

3) Gossip separates friendships: Protect your friend's reputation as you would your own.

A troublemaker plants seeds of strife; gossip separates the best of friends. (Proverbs 16:28, NLT)

4) Faithful Friends Are a Rare Treasure

One of the most loving acts in life is sticking by a friend no matter what.

There are “friends” who destroy each other, but a real friend sticks closer than a brother. (Proverbs 18:24, NLT)
